•  What is an infrared sauna?

It is an enclosed cabin with far-infrared rays emitted from far-infrared rays emittors (known as infrared heaters).

•  What is infrared rays?

It is a radiation heat that is a part of the natural sunlight without any of the dangerous effects of solar radiation. This is NOT to be confused with the radiation released in sun-tanned beds.

•  Is it harmful?

Not at all. Once again, infrared heat is not ultraviolet radiation; therefore, it does not burn or damage your tissue. In face, infrared energy is so safe that it is used in hospital incubators to warm new born babies.

•  Does it require special wiring?

No. All our standard sauna range does not require special wiring.

•  Do I need water piping for an infrared sauna?

No, as this type of sauna does not require the use of water. 

•  Where can I put my sauna?

As most of our saunas are designed to go indoors, it is recommended that you place your sauna somewhere dry and avoid getting rain or water on it. Some recommended places are your bedroom, home gym, garage, covered patio (with some sort of covering) or bathroom.

•  Is it easy to move my sauna around?

Once you have break-down the sauna, it is very easy to move it around. The whole process for putting it together/breaking is down, requires no more than 30 minutes with help of 2 adults. Read what our customers has said about our saunas here.

•  If I need replacement for my heaters after warranty period, is that possible?

We intend our saunas to go a long way and if for some reason your heaters does not work a few years down the track, we are happy to replace your heater for you at a very low price to make sure that you will still be happy with your purchase. 

•  I've got some medical conditions, can I use this an infrared sauna?

It is recommended that you talk to you doctor about using an infrared sauna before purchasing one, just to make sure everyone is happy about the purchase.

•  Can I pickup my sauna?

Yes you can. We are based in Mangere, near Auckland Airport.
